NFT ticketing marketplace strikes partnership with Elrow Dubai

After taking the art world by storm, the music industry is becoming the next destination where nonfungible tokens have a real impact

An NFT event ticketing marketplace has teamed up with a major electronic music brand.

SeatlabNFT says its goal is to help artists build a closer connection with fans — all while eliminating fraud and reducing the impact of scalping.

The NFT ticketing and experience platform has partnered with Elrow Dubai to become their exclusive VIP ticketing provider. This means all VIP tickets will be issued as NFTs — with digital collectibles, airdropped rewards, and on-site gamified interactive blockchain installations also on offer. Elrow is famous for carnival and circus-themed events where crowd interaction and immersiveness take center stage.

And in a particularly enticing development, Elrow Dubai will offer Proof of Attendance NFTs to VIPs via the SeatlabNFT platform. They’re a powerful way of commemorating special events and allowing their owners to proudly proclaim “I was there.” It’s also a 21st-century rethinking of memorabilia — forever immortalized on the blockchain.

The 8,000-capacity Elrow XXL festival in Dubai takes place in February 2023 with VIP tickets going on sale exclusively via SeatlabNFT from Nov. 2, 2022. Elrow Dubai’s event is set to take place in February 2023 — introducing thousands of fans to NFTs for the very first time.

SeatlabNFT’s dedicated app has now launched on Apple’s App Store and Google Play — meaning it’s available to millions of event goers worldwide.

Other recent partnerships include a tie-up with Lost Village festival to create a limited-edition NFT membership card that gave holders access to an immersive audiovisual festival experience.

The SeatlabNFT team also organized a freshers party tour of seven U.K. universities — and DJs included Clean Bandit, LF System, R3WIRE and Hardy Caprio.

Looking ahead, SeatlabNFT is introducing self-service onboarding, and unveiling even more headline-grabbing partnerships with world famous artists and brands. This will be accompanied by a dedicated marketplace for secondary sales, and a dashboard so event organizers can see all of their sales data in one place.
